Moonlight Cinema

Description:
The ultimate outdoor cinema experience. Moonlight Cinema runs from Thursday 3 December 2009 to Sunday 14 March. The cinema does not open on Mondays. The cinema will also be closed on the following dates: 24 December, 25 December, 31 December 2009, 13 February and 28 February 2010.
The venue is the Belvedere Amphitheatre, Enter via the Woollahra Gates, Centennial Park.
Gates open at 7.00pm and screenings start from 8.30pm.

The Good Guys Presents Jamie in the Park on Sunday 14 March from 6:30 pm at Centennial Park's Parade Grounds. One of the most popular TV chefs in the world makes his long awaited return to Australia in March 2010 and in Sydney for one free community event only.
The Good Guys Presents Jamie in the Park is a BYO picnic event packed with loads of live action. The show will include plenty of new material to inspire a really special performance, from teaching first-timers to cook in Jamie’s Ministry of Food to exploring the delicious and varied food that America has to offer. Get ready for an all new, highly interactive show with recipes taking you through Jamie’s ten year journey.
“I can’t wait to get back to Australia,” says Jamie. “It’s been too long. I always love my time in your country.”
This will be the first opportunity since 2006 to see Jamie live in Australia and the Sydney show is the only free event to be held thanks to The Good Guys. Providing entertainment for the whole family, The Good Guys Presents Jamie in the Park incorporates a complete Jamie Oliver show including live cooking, music, entertainment and stories from Jamie and his plans for the future.
Tickets will be available via Ticketek from 9.00 am on Friday 5th March on a first in best dressed basis. Tickets are limited.

FDA’s team of International Coaches, in conjunction with the Friends of Centennial Parklands, is running a Pre-Season Skills Clinic at Centennial Park on Monday 22 March 2010, from 6.00 pm - 7.30pm.
The cost is just $10 for registered Friends of Centennial Parklands and $15 for non-Friends.
FDA’s coaching team will introduce you - boys and girls aged 6-14 - to the type of training young players in Europe are experiencing in the top Academy and training programs.
Whether you’re just starting out in football or preparing for another season at elite level, the clinic will offer the perfect opportunity to practice under the expert eye of a top coaching team, practice and improve your skills and importantly have fun and make new friends.
